Pure Solutions, a provider of National Organic Program-Compliant tick and mosquito control, acquired Pure Lawns, based in Newton, Mass. Despite the word “pure” in both companies’ names, they were not previously affiliated.
“Mosquito control has always been synonymous with dangerous chemicals and providing a safe alternative is why we started Pure Solutions,” says Pure Solutions co-founder, Trevor Nelson. “Turf care has many of the same negative environmental impacts. That is why we set our sights on the turf care industry as the next step for expansion.”
Pure Solutions will offer Pure Lawns’ organic turf care program to its nearly 2,000 residential accounts across New England starting spring 2016.
Pure Lawns Founder Peter DiClemente will join the Pure Solutions team as director of its new turf care division.
