Primera, a cooperative dedicated to equipping its member-owners with the tools, skills, knowledge and innovations necessary for exceptional returns and competitive advantages, appointed its new board of directors for the 2024-2025 session. Primera announced the members of its board at the organization’s recent conference at the Gaylord Texan Resort.
The incoming board of directors includes:
- Chairman of the Board: Anthony Luciano, vice president of sales and marketing for Central Turf & Irrigation Supply.
- Vice Chairman: Mindy Vereen-Jackson, president of Vereen’s.
- Treasurer: Frank Lopes, owner of Turfnology.
- Secretary: Matt Schmid, president and CEO of Superior Turf Services.
- Director: Mike Maravich: national turf products manager for Ewing Outdoor Supply.
- Director: Brandon Funk: chief operating officer of WS Connelly.
- Director: Jordon Droll: vice president of operations at Ameriturf.
- Directors: Paul Smith and Allan Smith.

In May, Primera added Kirtland, Ohio-based Village Outdoors as a member-owner. The cooperative has more than 40 member-owners nationwide, including Central Turf & Irrigation Supply and Ewing Outdoor Supply.
