The 2014-2015 board of directors for the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) began its fiscal year May 1. Installation of the new board took place during PLANET’s Great Escape in Anaheim, Calif.
Three new officers were named at that time, including Jim McCutcheon of HighGrove Partners, Austell, Ga., being dubbed president of the board.
“I am honored and humbled to serve as PLANET’s president,” McCutcheon said. “My goal for PLANET is the same I have for my own company every day – work hard, smart, and creatively to get from good to great! The board and leadership of PLANET have that same goal, and we are building and executing a plan to make that happen.”
Scott Jamieson of Bartlett Tree Experts, Northbrook, Ill., was named president-elect, and Glenn Jacobsen of Jacobsen Landscape Design & Construction, Midland Park, N.J., was designated immediate past president.
