Monrovia’s ‘Pewter Pillar’ is a Chilean Winter’s Bark evergreen tree with a tight columnar growth habit and silvery white leaf undersurface. Glossy green leaves grow from upright stems that reach heights of 20 ft. Clusters of white flowers bloom at the end of each branch in late winter. It is well suited to use as a hedge or privacy screen in the landscape. ‘Pewter Pillar’ prefers partial to full sun and well-drained soil. It is hardy in USDA Zones 7 to 10.
