Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, distributor of low cab forward trucks, promoted Shaun Skinner to president of the company. He will replace Hisao Sasaki, who is returning to Isuzu Motors Limited in Japan. A 29-year Isuzu veteran, Skinner served as vice president and general manager for the past eight years. He also serves as president of Isuzu Commercial Truck of Canada.
Central Turf & Irrigation Supply—a North American wholesale distributor of irrigation, landscape, lighting and equipment supplies and provider of technical solutions for contractor projects based in Elmsford, N.Y.—appointed Doug Armour to commercial irrigation technical manager. Armour is certified as a Hunter Product Specialist for the ACC and ACC99D decoder systems, is Tucor factory trained, has achieved Rain Bird Commercial Advanced Authorized Service Center certification and is an Irrigation Association-certified landscape irrigation water manager.
LebanonTurf named Jeremy Bigler landscape channel manager. Bigler brings experience as a product manager and spent 16 years working in metal products. He has a bachelor’s in physics from Millersville University and a master’s in business administration from Drexel University.
Ruppert Landscape’s Washington, D.C., landscape management branch promoted Chris Bixler to branch manager. Bixler has been with Ruppert for four years and has more than 10 years of experience. He previously held positions as area manager and business developer at the company’s Laytonsville landscape management branch. He also won the company’s Branch Impact award for his work at the Laytonsville branch. He holds a bachelor’s in horticulture production from the University of Maryland.
Ruppert Landscape’s Virginia landscape construction branch hired Wendy De La O as receptionist/administrative assistant and John Quackenbush as assistant project manager. De La O will serve the Gainesville landscape management branch, as well as the Virginia landscape construction branch. Quackenbush holds a bachelor’s in engineering from James Madison University and has experience in engineering, recruiting and lawn care.
Ruppert Landscape’s North Carolina landscape construction branch hired Justin Warren as a project manager and promoted Marshall Walter to estimator. Warren, has 22 years of industry experience, is OSHA 30 certified and is a North Carolina Licensed Pesticide Applicator. He holds an associate degree in turf management from North Carolina State University and served on the board of directors for Eastern North Carolina Turfgrass Association for three years. Walter joined Ruppert in October 2015 as assistant field manager at the Raleigh landscape management branch. He has more than four years of experience in the landscape industry and holds a bachelor’s in criminal justice from Pensacola Christian College.
