
The Davey Tree Expert Co. promoted three and appoints two new managers.
Gregory Ina has been promoted to executive vice president of The Davey Institute and employee development. He holds a master’s and a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University, specializing in geographic information systems. Ina began his career with Davey 22 years ago as a geographic information systems intern with the Davey Resource Group. In 2006 Ina was promoted to general manager of The Davey Institute, and in 2009 he was named vice president and general manager of The Davey Institute.
Brent Repenning has been promoted to executive vice president of U.S. utility and the Davey Resource Group (DRG). Repenning joined Davey in 1994 as an intern/data collector with DRG and held positions of increasing responsibility until becoming vice president of eastern operations for DRG in 2009. In 2010 he was named vice president and general manager of DRG. In 2016 he expanded his role to include eastern utility services and was promoted to senior vice president of DRG and eastern utility operations. Repenning holds a bachelor’s degree in forestry from Ohio State University.
Paul Milano has been promoted to director of fleet operations. Milano has served as corporate fleet manager since joining Davey in June of 2015, and prior to Davey he spent over 25 years in the automotive sales and service industry.
Scott Bucciere has been promoted to fleet operations manager. Bucciere has served as Davey’s Kent shop manager since joining the company in October 2015, and he brings more than 30 years of experience in the automotive sales and service industry.
Bernie Stuczynski has been appointed to Kent shop manager. Stuczynski brings a wealth of experience to the position with several years in the transportation industry and a seasoned understanding of customer service.
The Aspire Software Co. hired Lori Grewe Broeker as the new accounting/payroll account manager.
Broeker comes to Aspire after a long career of management in midwestern contracting companies. Most recently, she was a lead consultant at Datix, a firm specializing in implementation of ERP software. Her job responsibilities include training and supporting Aspire clients in the areas of the system related to payroll and financial reporting.
Ruppert Cos. promoted Donna Nichols to vice president of finance. “Donna has excelled at every level in her tenure at Ruppert and I fully expect her significant contributions to continue in her new role,” said Craig Ruppert, CEO.
Nichols has more than 30 years of finance, accounting, real estate and property management experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree from McDaniel College and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has been with Ruppert for nine years as controller. In 2011, she was awarded the company’s Corporate Impact Award for her outstanding dedication and contributions that made a positive impact on the organization. As vice president of finance, she will be responsible for taxes and banking matters and the financial oversight of all three Ruppert companies.
Blount International promoted two in its International and North American sales groups within the Forestry, Lawn & Garden division. Stephane Faucher has been promoted to vice president of International Sales and Scott Harris has been promoted to vice president of North American sales.
Faucher joined Blount’s French office in 2001 as an account manager and has since held regional sales positions in Belgium, Europe, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Harris first joined Blount in 1996 as northeast territory manager where he was responsible for covering 13 states. Harris is currently serving a second term as the president of the Outdoor Power Equipment Aftermarket Association and has previously sat on the board of directors for the Outdoor Power Equipment and Engine Service Association.
Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply named Jeff Lanahan as the new executive vice president of business development.
In this new role, Lanahan will participate in strategy development and execution for the company’s continued growth and expansion. Lanahan’s background includes experience in strategic planning and operations, mergers and acquisitions, procurement and logistics, sales and marketing, accounting and finance, talent management and information technology.
Otterbine Barebo hired Robyn Barebo, the first third-generation family member to join the team, as its new digital marketing and public relations coordinator.
“We are thrilled to welcome our first third-generation family member to the business. Moreover, Robyn’s skills in graphic design, social media, and public relations are a much needed and welcomed addition to the Otterbine marketing team,” said Carla Ott, president of Otterbine Barebo.
Monrovia, a grower of ornamental and landscaping plants, hired Tristan Simpson as the company’s CMO. Effective Oct. 2, Simpson will be based in the company’s Azusa, Calif., headquarters.
At Monrovia, she will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive marketing strategy. Simpson comes to Monrovia with more than 20 years of experience in consumer packaged goods marketing. Simpson holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine.
