Ohio company dons pink for breast cancer awareness

|

Billy Reynolds and his crews may stand out on their mowers this October.

In commemoration of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, When Needed Lawn Care and Landscaping is suiting up in pink shirts throughout the month of October.

Reynolds, owner of Chillicothe, Ohio-based landscaping company, said the fashion statement is also a tribute to his mother, a breast cancer survivor. Additionally, the company is encouraging customers to make donations toward the American Cancer Society.

“(Pink) is real eye-catching when they’re out working,” said Reynolds’ wife, Kathy. “Hopefully it will get people who are passing by to stop and think about breast cancer.”
