Less than a month after its acquisition of Premier Lawn Care, Marlborough, Mass.-based Noon Turf Care struck another deal, acquiring Fuller Green Lawn Care of Shrewsbury, Mass. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Owned and operated by Jerry Fuller, Fuller Green has served the Boston West area for more than a decade, garnering a hefty base of residential and commercial customers in Eastern Massachusetts. The acquisition is expected to grow Noon Turf Care’s annual revenue by at least $500,000, Noon said, and expand its clientele by 500 customers.
“(Fuller) has been in the industry for a very long time,” said Matthew Noon, president of Noon Turf Care. “When you have someone like that, you know they’re running a healthy business with longevity. That’s why it’s such an ideal transaction, and they’re tough to come by. This a good time for both of us.”
Fuller will continue to service those customers as commercial sales manager for Noon Turf Care.
“We’re excited to have him on board. He’s really the consummate salesman,” Noon said. “He has a unique ability to connect with customers.”
As for Fuller Green employees, Noon said, they’re going through a formal interview process to ensure they’re a “cultural fit” with the company.
Christopher Noon, CEO of Noon Turf Care, told Landscape Management in September the company was organizing a “handful” of deals.
Matthew Noon spoke specifically to that “handful,” divulging Noon Turf Care has had four deals in the works this year, one of which fell through and two of which have already closed—those being Premier Lawn Care and Fuller Green.
“We’re really working right now hard. I don’t want to jinx us,” he said, adding he’s hopeful a third acquisition will be made by winter.
