The board of directors of the New Jersey Green Industry Council (NJGIC) named Dominick Mondi its new executive director.
“I am very excited to have Dominick join our organization as executive director” said Jim Jensen, president of the NJGIC and formulator business manager with NuFarm Americas. “The board was unanimous in thinking that he is the best person to lead our association.”
Mondi has a background in association management and the Green Industry and also serves as executive director of the New Jersey Nursery and Landscape Association (NJNLA). Prior to managing the NJNLA, Mondi spent 10 years working as a landscape designer and holds a degree from Rutgers University in landscape architecture.
He has experience working on issues affecting New Jersey’s Green Industry, having testified before the state legislature and the US House of Representatives. He is a member of the Professional Landcare Network’s Government Affairs Committee and is currently serving as vice president of the Nursery and Landscape Association Executives of North America.
“The NJGIC has a long history of advocating for New Jersey’s Green Industry professionals and businesses,” Mondi said. “I am very much looking forward to building on the great work the previous executive director and the board has done advancing the industry’s causes.”
