Husqvarna displayed its three latest mowers, a battery-powered blower and a pre-production fleet management software at GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky., Oct. 21-23.

Mowers

The company introduces its latest addition to its M-ZT Series Zero-Turn mower lineup—the Husqvarna M-ZT61 EFI. The mower features a 27-hp fuel injection, rugged 2-inch by 3-inch heavy-duty steel frame and commercial rated hydraulic system. Its MSRP is $6,999.95 in the U.S. and CA$8999.99 in Canada.

The company’s latest walk-behind mower—the Husqvarna LC221Ai—features all-wheel drive, a 2.3-bushel bag, a 15-gauge steel high performance deck for superior cutting, a 21-inch cutting blade and the no-prime, no-choke InStart bail starting system. Its MSRP is $549.95 in the U.S. and CA$699.99 in Canada.

Battery-Powered Blower

The Husqvarna 436LiB blower is designed to be lightweight, low maintenance and easy-to-use for the time-conscious professional seeking high-quality performance similar to gas-powered products, the company said. A simple tap on the control panel starts it instantly, and cruise control maintains constant speeds while the power boost setting removes debris, leaves and dirt. The company suggests pairing it with an efficient backpack battery system (Husqvarna’s BLi520X or BLi940X) for longer run times. Its MSRP is $299.95 in the U.S.; CA$349.99 in Canada.

Husqvarna Fleet Services

The company’s new cloud-based service, Fleet Services, connects the machine fleet and the landscaping teams directly to an online portal, providing landscape professionals with insights into their operations. By mounting a small wireless machine sensor to an outdoor power product, Husqvarna Fleet Services captures machine status data, translating it into valuable information. The Fleet Service system is in final beta testing with key tree care and landscape pros and will be made available as early as 2016, according to Husqvarna. The company also plans to launch a smartphone app to further support on-site operations and improve crew involvement.
