New Holland is expanding its skid-steer and compact track loader lineups with the launch of the C234 compact track loader. The C234 features a 90-hp engine, radial lift geometry and 17.7-inch track, which provide low ground pressure of 4.4 psi.
“This machine is your ‘go-to’ basement or in-ground pool digging machine, a rental yard ‘must-have,’ and the ultimate machine for stump grinding, rock saws and cold planers,” said Bradley Wenger, construction equipment marketing specialist at New Holland North America. “The new C234 is ready for your toughest job sites; it comes packed with a ton of power and is built heavy-duty all around.”
The C234 features a low-profile undercarriage design, an improved yoke-to-frame engagement that produces less noise with the potential for reduced operator fatigue and results in overall improved track alignment and easier clean out due to the increased area between the tracks, New Holland said.
Other features include a 3,400-pound rated operating capacity at 50-percent tipping load and strong bucket tip and lift breakout forces of 8,700 pounds.
The machine is built with steel rear door and hood as well as with new steel front work lights with side lamps. The new steel front work lights with side lamps are now available on all of New Holland’s skid-steer and compact track loader models.
The C234 will be available at dealers April 2017.
