The Miss Molly Buddleia has fragrant flowers that are a pink to sangria-red color that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. The color may be more pronounced in the South. This compact plant is smaller than many other buddleia varieties, and its distinctive flower color makes late summer gardens pop. It is deer resistant, heat and drought tolerant, but needs good drainage.
It can reach heights of 4 to 5 ft. tall in the landscape and should be spaced 5 to 6 ft. apart. It is hardy in zones 5-9 and blooms from summer through fall. Miss Molly prefers well-drained soils and should be pruned back in late winter/early spring.
