University of Findlay, located in Findlay, Ohio, is being forced to replace about 75 percent of its grass after a chemical similar to Roundup was accidentally applied to the grass instead of a fertilizer, according to The Findlay Courier.
As much as 54 to 72 acres of campus may have grass killed, the university said. Tim DeHaven, owner of Lima, Ohio-based DeHaven Home and Garden Showplace, estimated replacing the grass could cost between $432,000 and $2.1 million.
