Milwaukee Tool released new 12- and 6-inch measuring wheels. The units are designed for durability, ergonomics and productivity, the company said
To prevent build-up of dirt and grime that could potentially jam the wheel, the 12-inch measuring wheel has been designed with a debris-cleaning wheel flap that clears away contamination while rolling. This model also includes a reinforced kick stand. Additionally, the 12-inch version features a carrying handle, while the 6-inch model can be easily folded down to a compact 18 inches.
Constructed of reinforced aluminum frames and reinforced folding joints, the new measuring wheels feature durable locking pivot points and ergonomic pistol grip handles. These handles feature a top brake function that can be used to ‘lock’ the wheel and the reading. The 12-inch measuring wheel is also designed with a top handle clearing function for easier use, allowing the user to reset for each measurement without bending over, said Milwaukee Tool.
