Milorganite fertilizer slowly releases 85 percent of its organic nitrogen as turf grows, generating balanced growth. It does not contain salts and will not burn plants, even in hot temperatures and dry conditions. Its iron, which makes up four percent of the fertilizer, delivers a long-lasting green.
Unlike iron salts in some synthetic fertilizers, Milorganite’s organically complex iron won’t stain concrete. Each application feeds for eight to 10 weeks.
