BIRMINGHAM, ALA.—According to the Birmingham Business Journal, local private equity group McKinney Capital purchased Birmingham-based Grounds Unlimited and also merged Memphis, Tenn.-based Environmental Landscape Services with Landscape Workshop.
While price was not disclosed, the Journal reports that McKinney plans to retain all of Grounds Unlimited’s more than 70 employees.
