Mariani Premier Group, No. 11 on the 2023 LM150 list, acquired Planted Earth Landscaping, an award-winning company that provides full construction management services and partners with reputable contractors and architectural design firms, based in the Washington, D.C., metro area. This marks the 14th company acquired by Mariani and the first entry into the mid-Atlantic states. Mariani Premier Group said its expansion strategy continues to build a national platform to support landscape companies throughout the country.

Headquartered in Sykesville, Md., Chris Vedrani founded Planted Earth in 2010. He now serves as president. The company specializes in residential horticulture and landscape management services.

The move is the latest for Mariani as their expansion efforts continue following the formation of Mariani Premier Group. Mariani made a flurry of moves in 2022 with the addition of seven family-owned landscape companies and has also added Ed Castro Landscape, a full-service operation in Roswell, Ga., and Glengate in Wilton, Conn., Borst Landscape & Design, in Allendale, N.J. Southview Design of St. Paul, Minn., and Siciliano Landscape Co.of Red Bank, N.J.
