Shortly after relocating its headquarters to Neptune, N.J., Marathon Data Systems doubled the size of its office staff, adding 35 employees in the past 12 months.
Marathon Data Systems is the provider of a cloud-based business management platform for companies with a mobile workforce. Its recent growth coincides with reinventions of its business model to launch cloud-based software solutions for pest control and other field services. It also adapted it for transportation and logistics companies following its acquisition of Viamente.

In hand with its growth and relocation, Marathon Data Systems was approved for a Grow N.J. award of up to $3.2 million that included a bonus for moving to Neptune because it’s identified as a distressed municipality in the Economic Opportunity Act of 2013.
