LM, NALP, Turf Books to overhaul Operating Cost Study

|

The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) in conjunction with Landscape Management and Turf Books are seeking landscape companies to participate in a new Operating Cost Study for the landscape industry. The study was last published in 2012 by NALP.

The revised study will be a key source of benchmarking information for industry members to analyze their companies, identify trends and help with strategic planning. The final report will include vital data such as profit margins, labor ratios and more.

The complete report will be available in October for $199 or $99 for NALP members. An excerpt of the study will be published in the September issue of Landscape Management.

Companies who participate in the study by attending a webinar on June 15 and submitting their data by June 22 will receive a free copy of the complete report. No individual company data will be disclosed in the report. It will be analyzed and reported in aggregate for the study.

During the webinar, Daniel Gordon, CPA, principal at Turf Books will explain why your company’s success depends on understanding key performance ratios. The webinar also will walk attendees through the data submission process to ensure all respondents are submitting apples-to-apples information.

A recorded version of the webinar will be available for people who can’t make the live event.

To participate, register for the webinar. For more information, contact Landscape Management Editor Marisa Palmieri at mpalmieri@northcoastmedia.net or 216-706-3764.
