Landscape Workshop, a full-service ground management company and No. 35 on the 2023 LM150 list of the top landscape operations in the country, completed the acquisition of Liberty Land Management Group. The move expands the company’s footprint into a new territory, the Southwest region of Florida.

Since Liberty Land Management Group’s inception by Bob and Teresa Keating, Liberty has gained a reputation for its commitment to quality, reliability and the consistent delivery of commercial landscaping services.

“Our reputation for delivering exceptional results has been cultivated by fostering growth and development within our team. We prioritize our relationships with our clients and our employees,” said Keating. “That’s where Landscape Workshop aligns perfectly with our values—they not only acknowledge the worth of our dedicated professionals but also promise avenues for their continuous advancement.”

Bob and Teresa will support transition efforts as consultants with Landscape Workshop to facilitate a seamless transition for its clients and the team.

“We are pleased to announce our expansion into the Southwest Florida market through the acquisition of Liberty Land Management Group,” said J.T. Price, CEO of Landscape Workshop. “This represents a culmination of diligent planning and the well-established success of Liberty. We are thrilled to integrate the Liberty team into the LW family, further solidifying our presence in Florida.”

Stuart Maxey and Butler Sparks of Bradley served as Landscape Workshop’s legal counsel in this transaction. Liberty Land Management Group was represented by J. Paul Raymond with Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen. Josh Ward of Longleaf Strategic Partners acted as financial advisor on the transaction.

The move builds on Landscape Workshop’s growth over the past few years with additions of Artisan Landscape Group in Tennessee, Meliora Landscape Group in Louisiana, Martin Landscape in Georgia, Louisiana Landscape Specialty and Solid Ground Landscape Services of Atlanta, Ga.
