In honor of May as Military Appreciation Month, Kubota Tractor Corporation is launching an in-store, dealer fundraising initiative aimed at supporting life-improving programs for veterans and military families through the Boot Campaign. The joint effort aims to give back to Boot Campaign’s mission-driven programs and remind us of the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans and military families.
For every dollar donated at authorized Kubota dealerships or online at Kubota’s webpage on the Boot Campaign website during the month of May, Kubota will match contributions up to $50,000 to further the company’s efforts to positively impact the lives of those who served our country. Customers can also support Boot Campaign as part of this initiative by purchasing boots at the above Kubota webpage.
“As we celebrate Military Appreciation Month, it is essential to recognize the sacrifices made by our military personnel and their families,” said Alex Woods, Kubota senior vice president and a veteran of the Army National Guard. “Through this important initiative, we not only pay tribute to their unwavering dedication but also encourage our local dealer communities and their customers to participate and show support for local veterans by contributing to a worthy cause.”
The campaign funds raised will be directed toward Boot Campaign’s mission to provide personalized care for veterans and their families to treat the root cause of hidden wounds of war, to ease stress and financial strain and to produce quantifiable, long-lasting and life-changing results.
“Our mission at Boot Campaign is for every man or woman who has laced up their boots in service to our country to know that their life, their service and their sacrifices matter,” said Shelly Kirkland, CEO of Boot Campaign. “Support from companies like Kubota is vital in helping us continue our mission to serve veterans and their families. This matching campaign not only doubles the donations but also raises awareness about the needs of veterans. We are grateful for Kubota’s commitment and partnership.”
How to Participate
The fundraiser will run throughout the month of May within all 1,100 Kubota dealerships nationwide. Individuals wishing to contribute can visit their local Kubota dealer for more information or visit the Boot Campaign website to donate, buy boots or co-branded t-shirts. The company stated that every contribution, no matter the size, will help bridge the gap for veterans seeking support and resources.
“Kubota’s support for veterans has resonated deeply with employees, dealers and customers alike,” Woods said. “There is a shared dedication to uplifting all veterans and their families. This is why we are excited to expand our 10-plus year ‘Geared to Give’ commitment in partnership with the Farmer Veteran Coalition to also incorporate Boot Campaign. Together, let us express our heartfelt gratitude and solidarity with our brave service members this Military Appreciation Month.”
