Kubota’s new KX033-4 compact excavator with an extendable dipper arm is a new configuration to the existing KX033-4 compact excavator within Kubota’s popular KX Series.

“The extendable dipper configuration now has comparable dig depth and reach of a larger class machine with the weight and footprint of a 3-ton machine,” said Kubota Product Manager Jeff Jacobsmeyer.

The KX033-4’s optional extendable dipper arm can be quickly and easily extended up to 31 inches. It features a digging depth of 12 feet, 2 inches and a digging reach of 18 feet, 3 inches.

It’s powered by Kubota’s direct injection diesel engine with auto-shift and idle features. The KX033-4 also boasts an easy-open front glass windows, deluxe suspension seat, a cup holder, a wrist rest and air conditioning. The machine’s large, easy-to-read digital panel is user friendly with simple settings and push button operations, according to Kubota.

The product is now available at Kubota dealerships.

Kubota also added the U27-4 tight tail swing compact excavator to its lineup.

“The new U27-4 will replace the very popular U25S model for Kubota, and we expect our customers will be pleased with the upgraded features,” said Jacobsmeyer. “It’s a very capable machine on any job site, and the best-in-class reach and dig depth really set it apart from the competition.”

The U27-4 features adjustable auxiliary flow hydraulics, an auxiliary diverter valve and two-speed automatic downshift travel. It also boasts a bucket digging force of 7,014 pounds.

The powerful and well-balanced arm and bucket design allows the operator to dig faster, deeper and more efficiently even in the toughest conditions, according to Kubota.

Other features include a large, spacious cab with a wider entrance, greater leg room, more flow space and a luxurious interior as well as a new user-friendly front meter panel. An enclosed cab option with heat is also available.

The U27-4 will be available at Kubota dealerships later this spring.
