John Deere made some notable updates to its 3032E and 3038E compact utility tractors.
The units are part of the John Deere’s emerging E Series tractor lineup. With more than 20 configurations, the E Series compact/utility tractors comprise a family machines ranging from 22 to 100 horsepower.
The 3032E and 3038E, specifically, are equipped with Tier 4 Final engines with 31.1 and 37.3 horsepower, respectively, and a hydrostatic transmission with Twin Touch pedals. Automotive-style cruise control is optional, and intuitive controls are color-coded—orange for throttle and shifting; black for hydraulics; yellow for power take-off.
Both models also feature a flat, open station operator platform; higher back seat; and a foldable, certified rollover protection structure for easier storage. Without tools, the operator can manually fold the safety device down for parking in a garage or shed. As another update, the exhaust system was moved from the top of the tractors and now runs parallel to the ground.
