John Deere Landscapes acquired Green Resource, which has five locations servicing North Carolina and South Carolina with landscape maintenance products and supplies. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Green Resource, headquartered in Colfax, N.C., was founded in 1994 under the name Nivek. Its five North Carolina distribution centers are located in Colfax, Garner, Shallotte, Charlotte and Winston-Salem. The company supplies North Carolina and South Carolina’s golf, lawn and landscape, nursery, lawn and garden and erosion control markets.
