JDL buys BISCO, bolsters Northeast market

JDL_lmdA week after its acquisition of The Stockyard Horticultural Supply, John Deere Landscapes (JDL) struck another deal, purchasing Boston Irrigation Supply Co. (BISCO). Terms were not disclosed.

Established in 1985, BISCO offers irrigation products, landscape lighting goods, landscape products, golf course irrigation materials and pump systems. It has five locations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and New York.

“The acquisition of BISCO allows JDL to increase our presence in the Northeast market,” CEO Doug Black said. “BISCO has been providing high quality irrigation and landscape lighting materials to contractors for almost 30 years. We welcome our new employees and are glad to have them joining our team in the Northeast.”
