Irrigation Association adds four to board of directors

The Irrigation Association recently announced the four new members of its board of directors.

  • Alan Ence, QWEL, general manager of landscape and agriculture at Hydro-Rain (Road Fruit Heights, Utah)
  • Brad Jakubowski, CIT, instructor of plant science, Penn State University (Port Matilda, Pa.)
  • Gretchen Kah, director, executive vice president, K-Rain (San Francisco, Calif.)
  • Frank Toves, CAIS, CIC, CID, president of AvidWater (Castroville, Calif.)

The newly elected directors started their terms at the conclusion of the 2024 Irrigation Show and Education Week, joining the other members who are continuing their terms from previous years. The IA Board comprises 15 elected leaders in the irrigation industry.

The IA welcomes these new leaders to the board and the association. Their contributions are essential to the IA’s work to elevate the impact and value of the industry and create an environment where irrigation businesses can thrive and grow.

The IA Board of Directors establishes the association’s strategic direction, policies and programs. Directors are nominated and elected each year by members and represent a diversity of member types and market segments.
