With a 13-inch turf root, Indianapolis–based Total Lawn Care (TLC) won Holganix’s Roots for You competition.
As the winner, TLC received a $500 cash prize as well as a $500 cash donation made in its name to the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET).
Holganix put the contest in place to discover some of the deepest, hence strongest and healthiest, turf-root systems in America.
