HydroPoint Data Systems received the Best Savings Impact vendor award from the Irvine Co.
WeatherTRAK Pro smart controllers, with supporting WeatherTRAK Central cloud-based central management software, are installed at 151 of the Irvine Co.’s office properties, 11 of its apartment communities and at The Resort at Pelican Hill. In 2013 alone, WeatherTRAK helped its subscribers save 20 billion gallons of water and 77 million kilowatt hours of power.
“Water conservation has been part of the Irvine Ranch since it was founded 150 years ago and remains part of the stewardship legacy and culture of Irvine Co. today,” said Clint Collins, senior director of landscape operations at the Irvine Co. “HydroPoint has helped to make our properties more efficient and, just as important, helped us save water.”
