Hunter Industries unveiled its new X2 controller, requiring 14 zones or fewer.
The new X2 controller builds upon its predecessor, the X-Core, with the option to add Wi-Fi for remote management powered by Hydrawise software. X2 allows you to keep familiar A, B, C style programming and install a WAND module to enable Wi-Fi control when needed.
It includes:
- Four-, six-, eight- or 14-zone outdoor-rated models with a backlit display and 5-foot power cord;
- The ability to manually operate the controller up to 1,000 feet away with a Roam remote or 2 miles away with a ROAM XL remote;
- The capability to control X2 irrigation from a smartphone or desktop and receive status alerts for proactive maintenance; and
- The ability to achieve water savings up to 50 percent with online weather adjustments.
