Hardscape North America (HNA) added four Regional Installer Championships to lead up to the 2016 Hardscape North America Installer Championships competition held at the HNA trade show, Oct. 20-21 in Louisville, Ky. The four regional competitions will be held in Fort Worth, Texas; San Jose, Calif.; Cincinnati; and Lacy, Wash.
For each Regional Installer Championship winning team, the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) will provide a prize package valued at up to $4,000 for two team members and an alternate or coach. The package includes round-trip airfare to Louisville, complimentary trade show admission to Hardscape North America, complimentary registration fee for HNA Installer Championship and more.
Like the HNA Installer Championships, Regional Installer Championships are intended to test and recognize the skill and dedication of hardscape contractors from Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. At the final competition, 12 teams will have their understanding of industry best practices and guidelines tested in a race against the clock and other top installers in the industry.
The HNA 2016 Champions will receive a prize package valued at approximately $10,000. The package includes $1,000, an iQ360 14-inch masonry saw with fully-integrated dust collection plus accessories, a Weber MT CF3 Pro forward plate compactor, their name engraved on the HNA Installer Championship Cup, a plaque and media recognition.
Runner-ups will also receive prizes and media recognition. The HNA 2016 second place team will receive $400 and the iQ360 14-inch masonry saw. The third place team will receive $100.
