Registration now is open for Hardscape North America (HNA) 2016, held in conjunction with GIE+EXPO from Oct. 19-21 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky. Early-bird registration ends Sept. 8, with a price increase and final registration accepted up until the dates of the show.
Marking its 10th anniversary, HNA will offer new keynote sessions this year. Featured speakers include Papa John’s Pizza CEO John Schnatter, who will lend tips to success in growing one of the world’s largest pizza delivery chains; Shannon Miller, U.S. gold medalist and Olympic gymnast, who will present “The Gold Medal Mindset;” and renowned author Jason Dorsey, who will present “Selling Across Generations.”
Contractor briefings will continue throughout the remainder of the event on the trade show floor, covering in 20-minute snippets topics such as “Are You Really Making Money on the Job?” “Profit is Not a Four Letter Word” and “Best SRW Construction Practices.”
Eight conference sessions also are slated and include ”Estimating Projects with Confidence,” “YouTube Your Next Hardscape Project” and “Profits and Pavers: Are You Making What You Should?” to name a few.
The HNA Outdoor Arena will boast a new continuous build format in the form of six one-hour live demonstrations, including “Basic Wall Building,” “Permeable Paver Installation” and “Lighting and Water Feature Installation.”
In addition, 2016 marks the fourth year for the HNA Installer Championships, whereby hardscape contractors compete to determine the best-of-the-best in the industry. Up to 24 teams will start the competition in a preliminary round, with only the best four moving on to the championship round and the winner receiving a prize package valued at approximately $10,000. Rounding out the event, the HNA Awards Recognition Reception will take place on Oct. 20 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
