Heritage Landscape Supply Group acquired Rock Bottom Stone Supply, a wholesale distributor of natural and manufactured stone. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Burton, Mich., Rock Bottom is owned and operated by Ken Belcher and Todd Dennis. The company operates a second location in Highland, Mich., and employs a team of 40 people. Belcher and Dennis will continue to lead Rock Bottom’s dedicated team, ensuring continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers and employees.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome the Rock Bottom team to the Heritage family,” said Chris McMurrough, president of Heritage. “From our initial discussions with Ken and Todd, it was obvious that we shared a passion for taking care of our people and going above and beyond for our customers. Rock Bottom has earned an outstanding reputation for exemplary service over its 20-year history, and we look forward to continuing that legacy as we expand our landscape footprint throughout the state.”

“We are thrilled to announce our newfound partnership with Heritage Landscape Supply Group,” said Belcher and Dennis. “Our loyal team has worked extremely hard to make Rock Bottom what it is today, and we are fortunate to have found an organization like Heritage that will continue to treat our employees like family. This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and we can’t wait to see what we will accomplish with the added resources and support of Heritage.”

Since 2018, Heritage Landscape Supply Group has grown to become one of the largest and fastest growing landscape supply distributors in the U.S. Heritage currently operates under a family of distinct local brands encompassing more than 220 locations across 36 states.
