The annual Hardscape North America (HNA) Awards Ceremony took place in Louisville, Ky., at the Equip Expo on Oct. 17 to honor contractors, producers and designers for their contributions to the hardscape industry. Multiple creative and innovative designs for residential and commercial landscape projects were celebrated across different categories including walkways, patios, outdoor living spaces, commercial plazas and more.
With 215 project submissions across 19 categories, the competition showcased hardscaping excellence in materials such as concrete pavers, clay bricks, retaining walls, adhered thin veneers, porcelain, natural stone and vintage installations. Categories also included projects that featured a combination of hardscape products and outdoor living features.
“It’s been fantastic to see the growth of the HNA Awards program over the years,” said Bob Thomas, president and CEO of the Concrete Masonry and Hardscapes Association (CMHA). “The number and quality of submissions reflect the continuous innovation and progress within the industry. Each year, the projects set a new standard of excellence, and I’m already eager to see the creativity and advancements that 2025 will bring.”
The 2024 HNA Awards program was produced by the Concrete Masonry and Hardscapes Association (CMHA) and endorsed by the Brick Industry Association (BIA) and the Natural Stone Institute (NSI). Sponsoring the awards ceremony was iQ Power Tools, a leader in innovative tools designed for the construction industry.
