A new partnership among Greenius and Landscape Management Network with Marsh Canada has introduced a specialized insurance offering for landscape maintenance, snow removal and tree care contractors across Canada. The initiative links insurance premium savings directly to workforce risk management training, addressing a longstanding challenge: finding industry-specific coverage that acknowledges proactive risk mitigation efforts.
Rising insurance premiums and the complexity of insuring green industry operations have left many contractors underinsured or paying more for coverage that doesn’t recognize investments in safety or training. Labor shortages and claims volatility add to operational headwinds for business owners. Marsh Canada brings more than 15 years of experience in the green sector to this new program, aiming to stabilize costs and streamline access to property, auto, liability and errors and omissions coverage.
Contractors using Greenius’ workforce training can qualify for a premium discount of 5 percent when completing approved risk management modules. Marsh Canada will handle policies and claims service, while Greenius and LMN provide ongoing education through webinars, including an introductory session on Aug. 14, 2025.
