Gravely expanded its portfolio with the introduction of multiple new products. In 2025, the Pro-Stance Ultra, the Ariens Ridgeline residential stand-on mower and a new spindle will be available for purchase.

“This launch marks an exciting chapter in the Gravely story,” said Ariens Senior Vice President of Customer Success Stephen Ariens. “Gravely is the brand for professionals who need rugged equipment with superior performance and high ergonomic standards. This product is a perfect fit to give our customers what they need to succeed and grow their businesses through efficiency.”

This new platform features 52 and 60-inch deck offerings and a 72-inch EFI model. It addresses a market desire for premium comfort, efficiency, power, durability and performance in a stand-on mower. Compared to ride-on mowers, stand-on mowers allow the body to absorb shocks more naturally and make for a quicker entry and exit of the equipment.

“Operators are quickly realizing the ergonomic and efficiency benefits of stand-on mowers, which is why we expect that market to grow by 10 percent in the next two years,” said Gravely Brand Director Patrick McQuillan. “The Pro-Stance Ultra gives serious professionals a new high-end entry point into the stand-on category through a high-performance product that strengthens their stance in terms of capabilities, business reputation, and growth potential.”

The Pro-Stance Ultra is designed with the following benefits:

  • A wide, curved operator pad extending below knee height eliminates the potential for knee impact.
  • 15-inch caster wheels make curb hopping simpler and provide more cushion.
  • A low center of gravity adds stability.
  • An adjustable platform accommodates a variety of operators.
  • The pitched, forward-facing controls are angled to decrease the chance of wrist strain.
  • The high-capacity 16-gallon fuel tank reduces fill-up breaks on the job.
  • A trio of Gravely’s new commercial spindles are cast from cold-forged aluminum, serviceable and more resilient to moisture penetration and debris ingestion.

The new spindle features elements designed to help prevent moisture and erosion nets from reducing productivity.

“We spent a lot of time in the field learning what makes lawn maintenance professionals successful, as well as their struggles,” said Gravely Channel Marketing Manager Angie Ansorge. “Spindle failures through bearing corrosion or interference with debris is a very large pain point, which is what lead us down the path of upgrading our design.”

The new spindle is reusing winning features of the former design including the dependability of Gravely’s cold-forged aluminum casting.

“Compared to cast-iron designs, Gravely’s cold-forged aluminum spindle operates at cooler temperatures and is more resilient to failures from heat – ultimately, this means less expense and downtime when those failures occur,” said Ansorge. “This a clear and proven advantage for us, so we didn’t change that construction.”

The Ariens Ridgeline stand-on mower

The Ariens Ridgeline residential stand-on mower is designed for comfort, precision, durability and commercial-grade product features.

“The Ridgeline leaves your lawn with a professional-quality finish without the hassle,” said Jake Weiss, director of Ariens Marketing. “The Ariens Envy deck gives crisp, clean cuts, and the 2-in-1 design offers versatility-allowing homeowners to seamlessly switch between stand-on and walk-behind modes for more control and precision around obstacles. You’re not straining your body either – hopping on and off is quick and easy, and the stand-on platform reduces back and leg stress.”

The Ridgeline offers:

  • Reduced strain: The stand-on design reduces back, leg and joint stress, allowing for longer mowing sessions.
  • On and off in seconds: The stand-on offers no more climbing in and out. The design allows for quick dismounts to handle obstacles.
  • Professional-quality cut results: Manufactured with 7- and 10-gauge steel, depending on the model, the Ridgeline delivers flawless cuts typically reserved for the pros. It’s available in 32, 48, and 52-inch deck sizes with 13-15 cutting positions depending on the model.
  • Built for those who demand more: It provides low impact on the body and high performance on the lawn. Powered by a Kawasaki FS600V or FS651V engine, this machine reaches speeds up to 7 mph.
  • Compact Design, Big Performance: Its compact footprint fits easily in garages or sheds, saving space. At 47.5 inches tall, 55 inches or less for width, and 65.5 inches in length, it offers maximum performance with minimal bulk.

The mower will be available in Spring 2025 at Ariens retailers and dealers.
