After updating outdoor spaces across Europe, GeoCeramica, the Dutch paving system, is now available in the U.S. MBI, a manufacturer of concrete products in the Netherlands, developed this product combining the modern look of porcelain tile with a durable, concrete drainage layer. The partnership between MBI, LibertyStone Hardscaping Systems and licensing company Benelux a.s. made it possible for GeoCeramica’s presence in the U.S.
“The partnership with LibertyStone and Benelux a.s. is a natural fit for us. Our companies share a long-standing commitment to quality, innovation and family values,” said Ben van Dooijeweert, export manager of MBI. “We are excited to collaborate with people who understand our vision and are equally passionate about bringing cutting-edge products like GeoCeramica to the U.S. market.”
GeoCeramica has a three-in-one system, including a proprietary Stabikorn base, AquaFerm binding paste and a porcelain surface. This combination helps unite porcelain and concrete into a durable paving solution. The Stabikorn base allows for water drainage and movement, and the AquaFerm paste solidifies a permanent bond between the porcelain and concrete base.

“GeoCeramica is unlike anything on the market today,” said Dave Lewis, vice president of product development at LibertyStone Hardscaping Systems. “This product isn’t just another paver; it represents years of research, testing and installation in the field to create a sustainable, durable and beautiful solution for outdoor spaces. We are thrilled to bring this European innovation to our American customers.”
GeoCeramica aims to benefit professional contractors, landscape architects and homeowners. The integrated spacer bars allow for hassle-free installation, while the slip-resistant, stain-resistant surface is designed for patios, walkways, pool decks and rooftops. Limitless design options are available due to technological advancements in the porcelain industry that replicate natural stone textures and colors.
LibertyStone and Benelux a.s. are seeking both production and distribution partners to expand GeoCeramica nationwide. The company aims to bring this European innovation to as many American locations as possible.
