FX Luminaire released a new ultra-compact QL down light, ideal for narrow-space installations in both new and retrofit projects.
At 1.5 inches wide and with one LED, the surface-mounted QL provides effective downward illumination when installed on posts, perimeter fencing, pool enclosures, doorways and pergolas. Built with sturdy, die-cast aluminum, the tamper-resistant QL is simple to install and engineered with no visible hardware.
The QL is phase and pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimmable. It is also compatible with FX Luminaire’s Luxor lighting control technology. When used with FX Luminaire’s Luxor lighting control technology, the minimalist QL provides zoning and dimming capabilities. It includes a modular bracket that offers flexibility during installation.
“The QL is our smallest surface-mounted down light,” said Sarah Auyeung, associate product manager. “We saw the need for a low-profile fixture that could be installed on narrow posts and fences.”
This offering from FX Luminaire is available in nine finishes and has two-layer, marine-grade anodization and a powder coat finish.
