A New York federal court granted final approval on a $1.2 million deal between TruGreen LandCare and former H-2B workers with the company, Law360 reports.
The settlement for class members may be worth up to $1,234,750, depending on how many class members file claims.
The suit dates back to March 2010, when Otoniel Sosa Teoba, a Mexican citizen who was employed by TruGreen through the H-2B visa program, filed suit against TruGreen for failing to pay minimum wage by not reimbursing visa and travel costs.
