Ivy Munion, American Society of Irrigation Consultants’ (ASIC) past president, died May 23. She had been fighting cancer for several years.
“She was truly a unique individual and will not be forgotten by those who were touched and impacted by her unabashed rambunctious nature and infectious optimism,” ASIC said in a recent release.
Munion started in the industry in 1989 as a draftsperson. She dedicated her life to learning and giving back to her profession.
She was the owner of ISC Group, a consulting firm in Livermore, Calif. She was also the first female President of ASIC.
Funeral arrangements have not been finalized.
