FD2B Talk Radio Insight of the Night: Judy Guido

When thinking about becoming a “green” company, you need to do more than talk the talk. According to Green Industry consultant Judy Guido, “green” can’t just be a sales pitch you use in your marketing and advertising. “Green” has to be embedded in the fabric of your company for it to be believable and sustainable.

This means having green business practices, such as reducing paper usage and minimizing travel time; working with like-minded green partners who are minimizing their own carbon footprints; using only products that are safe for the environment; and minimizing the use of natural resources.

Not only is this approach better for the planet, but it will make it easier for clients to align themselves with you and select your company instead of your competitor’s. Being green can actually help your bottom line in more ways than one.
