Ergodyne released three new phase change cooling vests to its Chill-Its Phase Change Series: the 6215, the 6215HV and the 6230.

According to the company, the new vests offer a honeycomb cooling pack design for increased flexibility, comfort and mobility. Made from cotton, the vests feature an adjustable hook and loop closure on the shoulders and waist. Once the non-toxic, non-carcinogenic pack is activated, the vest cools at a constant 58 degrees Fahrenheit for four hours, says Ergodyne.

“We’re constantly striving to find even better solutions for workers,” said Alsie Nelson, product specialist of the Elements Pillar at Ergodyne. “Adding additional surface area for more cooling power, a honeycomb design to the cooling packs, and switching to a new FR fabric are just a few things we came up with this time to deliver a power-packed punch when it comes to heat stress prevention.”
