The Department of Justice has notified the court in the Northern District of Florida that the program rule will now not be enforced until April 27. The judge in the case will hear the motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction on Tuesday, April 24, at 2 p.m.
“We feel we have a good case and excellent lawyers,” said PLANET Director of Government Affairs Tom Delaney. “We hope the results are favorable for our industry and all the other small and seasonal businesses that rely on this legal way to cope with the labor problem and the broken U.S. immigration system.”
