The Davey Tree Expert Co., based in Kent, Ohio, promoted two employees within Wolf Tree, a Davey company.
Michael McCollum is being promoted to regional vice president of Wolf Tree. McCollum started working at the company in 2009 as a plant health care technician and earned a promotion as residential manager in 2012. In 2013, he earned a promotion to operations manager.
Kevin Bauer is being promoted to operations and financial manager of Wolf Tree. He stared at Wolf Tree in 2004 as an operations administrator in the eastern utility service line and, by 2012, was promoted to business manager of eastern utility. In 2013, Bauer was also promoted to a position as operations manager.
Mark Vaughn, vice president and general manager, eastern utility services, for Davey, expects both employees to contribute to the growth of the company.
“Kevin and Michael are both proven leaders,” he said. “Both are committed to the growth and development of the Davey company.”
McCollum holds a bachelor’s degree in ornamental horticulture and landscape design from the University of Tennessee, and Bauer holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University and a master’s degree in business administration from Cleveland State University.
