Winter Services, a West Allis, Wisc.-based commercial snow and ice management company, received the 2015 Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) Safety Award for the fourth consecutive year. The company was also named one of the fastest growing companies in Southeastern Wisconsin by the Milwaukee Business Journal.

The award is presented by the Family Business Center at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business. It recognizes exceptional Illinois-based family businesses that exemplify a strong commitment to business development, family and the community.
The LaurelRock Co., a landscape and maintenance firm based in Wilton, Conn., collected two awards from the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ (NALP) Safety Recognition Awards Program. The company was awarded a Silver Overall Safety Achievement Award and a No Vehicle Accidents Award. The NALP’s Safety Recognition Awards Program honors companies with a multi-year track record of creating and maintaining safe work environments.
