Ariens Co. began construction on a concept store in Brillion, Wis., located near its global headquarters. According to Chairman and CEO Dan Ariens, the store, which is expected to open in May 2017, will “demonstrate best-in-class dealership practices, test merchandising concepts that might be offered to our network of dealers and learn more about overall customer experience.” It will be open to the public for sales of Ariens and Gravely brand outdoor power equipment and parts sales. Hardware Plus, a power equipment dealer in downtown Brillion, will help manage the store.
Case Construction Equipment dealer JWH Equipment in Jackson, Miss., supplied an excavator and compact track loader to veteran-led disaster relief organization Team Rubicon’s Operation Iron Bird, which demolished 17 houses and cleared another 13 properties of tornado debris in Hattiesburg, Miss., for free. The city was hit by the EF3 tornado Jan. 21. This effort was the most extensive heavy equipment deployment conducted by Team Rubicon in a disaster zone, according to Case.
LandCare’s Austin, Texas, branch held a Community Care day Feb. 9 in conjunction with CCMC, a community association management firm and LandCare client. Eleven volunteers revamped four tired flower beds that line the sports fields at Lake Travis High School. The volunteers from LandCare and CCMC finished the job just in time for the baseball team’s first scrimmage of the year.
The Aspire Software Co., a provider of landscape business management software, will move into new offices March 1. Managing partner Mark Tipton said the company outgrew its current space after two years. The new St. Louis offices are located at 17107 Chesterfield Airport Road, Chesterfield, Mo., 63005. The company will hold an open house March 31 for clients, friends and business partners.
