Central Turf & Irrigation Supply appointed Alan Edwards to senior executive vice president and CFO, where he will focus on long-range planning, processes and infrastructure for the Elmsford, N.Y.-based distributor.

A Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant, Edwards has held the title of CFO for several public and privately held companies in the landscape, irrigation and swimming pool industries.
