As part of its sponsorship of the AMSOIL World Championship Snowmobile Derby, CASE Construction Equipment is auctioning off a new SR175 skid-steer loader. Proceeds will benefit the United Way. The skid-steer is autographed by Derby champions dating back to the first event in 1964, won by Stan Hayes when he was 13 years old. The blind auction begins noon CST Jan. 21 and ends 5 p.m. CST Jan. 24. Bidding starts at $15,000 via CASEce.com/sslauction.

Now in its 51st year, the Derby is held in Eagle River, Wis., and draws more than 40,000 spectators per year. This year’s Derby took place Jan. 16-19. In addition to the SR175 for auction, CASE also supplied the event with a variety of skid-steers, compact track loaders and wheel loaders to help build the snow course and keep it maintained throughout the three-day event.
