Bryant Van Meeteren has been named as the new general manager for Exmark and Spartan. According to Greg Janey, group vice president, landscapes and contractor of The Toro Company (TTC), Van Meeteren’s forward-thinking and action-oriented approach, along with his growth mindset, sets him up excellently to lead the Exmark and Spartan brands into their next chapter.
“Bryant embodies TTC culture and values across the organization and in the Beatrice community,” Janey said. “His unique background and his expertise in supply chain operations provide a critical dimension of diversity in thought, enhancing our integrated approach to business strategy and operational excellence.”
Van Meeteren, holding a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from the University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on supply chain management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, has been with The Toro Company since 2020. First hired as the director of operations at Exmark in Beatrice, he was later promoted to managing director of TTC northern operations in 2022. There, he exemplified his expertise in supply chain management as he led the company through a variety of post-pandemic supply issues.
Van Meeteren was promoted to senior managing director, operations excellence, in 2024. In that role, he worked to ensure efficiency and consistency in planning, manufacturing, quality, lean and materials management across TTC manufacturing locations in North America.
“I’m looking forward to applying what I’ve learned from the manufacturing side of our business to help shape the future vision for these amazing brands,” Van Meeteren said. “I have deep respect for our incredibly talented and dedicated employees and channel partners, and I’m excited to work together as we take Exmark and Spartan to new heights.”
