Brothers Jimmy and Jeremy Leith opened a Spring-Green Lawn Care franchise, serving Trussville, Vestavia, Birmingham, Mountain Brook, Inverness and Hoover, Ala., as well as a portion of Jefferson County.
Jimmy Leith has more than a decade of Green Industry experience, including eight years of owning his own company Landscaping Managers. For Jeremy Leith, however, the business move marks his official entry into industry. For the past eight years, he’s worked as a critical care trauma nurse.
“I wanted to have a business that was home-based,” said Jeremy Leith, who still travels to California to work as a nurse four days a month. “It was immediately clear Spring-Green is a topnotch company that truly cares about their franchisees. They have great goals and great support staff who I enjoy being around. They also do a lot of teaching and directing. When you’re starting up a new business you really need that kind of shoulder to lean on.”
Spring-Green has added four new franchises in the past two months, said James Young, Spring-Green president.
“We are very excited to add Jimmy and Jeremy to our Spring-Green family,” he said. “They have many years of experience in and knowledge of the Green Industry and we are confident they will be yet another asset to our team.”
While the brothers are co-owners of the new Spring-Green business, Jeremy Leith will be the managing owner, overseeing all daily operations, with Jimmy Leith primarily there for oversight and advice.
“We can’t do it without each other,” Jimmy Leith said.
