Blackhaw viburnum (Viburnum prunifolium), also known as possum haw, is a medium-sized flowering tree that reaches heights of 15 to 25 ft. It features dark-green, glossy leaves that turn deep red in the fall. Its round canopy sports clusters of white flowers in the spring and pink fruits in late summer, which later turn a glossy black. Blackhaw is suited to USDA Zones 3 to 8.
